Will Woodson and Cait Finley
Will Woodson on flute and uilleann pipes joins Cait Finley on fiddle to perform traditional Irish music inspired by the dance halls, vaudeville theaters, and house sessions of Irish-American culture from the 1920s and 30s. The duo, with roots in the living Irish musical traditions of Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia, draw from the first generation of recorded Irish musicians. Their work includes their 2019 debut album "The Glory Reel" and "The Phonograph Project," a series examining 78 recordings of traditional Irish music made in New York City during the 1920s and 30s.
